FAQs
1. How can I track my order?
All orders are dispatched within 48 hours and typically delivered within 3–5 business days. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email/SMS with the tracking link to monitor your delivery.
2. How can I modify my address or phone number?
If you need to update your address or contact details, we request you to please reach out to our support team at the earliest. Our team will assist you with the changes before the order is dispatched.(refer ‘Modify or Cancel Order’).
3. How do I make changes to my order?
Once an order has been placed, items cannot be added or removed. However, we request you to kindly contact our support team, and we will do our best to assist you.
4. How do I cancel my order?
For order cancellations, please contact our support team as soon as possible. Cancellation requests can only be accommodated before the order is fulfilled/dispatched. (refer ‘Modify or Cancel Order’)
5. How can I replace my items?
All our products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. To request a replacement, please write to us at info@arata.in within 48 hours of delivery, along with your order invoice and clear images of the issue. Our team will review and assist you accordingly.(refer ‘Return and Refund’ section).
6. What is the expected time period for a refund to be successful?
All approved refunds are processed to the original mode of payment within 7 working days. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we request you to contact our support team with your bank account details, so we can process your refund smoothly.(refer ‘Return and Refund’).
7. Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we do not ship outside India. However, we are working on expanding internationally. If you'd like to stay updated, please write to us atinfo@arata.in.
8. How do I use Arata points/promo codes?
Become a registered customer to start earning points. You can earn points through purchases, in-store activities, and more, and redeem them at checkout. To use a promo code, simply enter it during checkout.
1. What makes Arata different from other brands?
Arata is built on the belief that better hair starts with understanding how hair and scalp truly work. Instead of simply masking concerns at the surface, our formulas are designed to address the underlying causes and mechanisms behind each one. The result is targeted care that supports healthier hair in a more meaningful, long-term way.
Scientifically proven and dermatologically tested, our formulas are made to deliver efficacy with safety. Combined into routine-friendly systems, they support stronger, healthier hair over time.
2. Are the products completely safe?
All our formulas are dermatologically tested and thoughtfully developed with a strong focus on safety, efficacy, and everyday usability. That said, every skin, scalp and hair type is different, which is why we recommend a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or a reactive scalp.
3. Does Arata have its own store?
While we are primarily an online-first brand, Arata products are also available at select offline retail stores across NCR. Availability may vary, and we recommend checking with our support team for the nearest location.
4. Are Arata products free from harmful chemicals?
Yes. We formulate with a strong emphasis on safety. We formulate our products without certain ingredients like parabens as part of our formulation philosophy, but it’s important to know that these ingredients are not inherently harmful when used within regulated limits. All our formulations are also dermatologically tested to be safe and non-irritant.
5. How long does it take to see results?
That depends on the concern, its severity, your scalp or skin health, and consistency of use. In some cases, certain benefits may be noticeable from the very first use, as reflected in specific product claims. However, more visible and meaningful results typically build with regular, consistent use over time.
6. Do you offer consultations for hair care?
At the moment, we do not offer one-on-one hair consultations. However, if you have any questions about our products or need help choosing the right one for your concern, our customer support team will be happy to assist you.
7. Are your products suitable for coloured or chemically treated hair?
Yes. Our products are designed to be non-stripping and are generally suitable for coloured or chemically treated hair. Since tackling dandruff requires leaving the shampoo for 2–3 minutes on the scalp and frequent washing, our Anti-Dandruff Shampoo may result in fading of coloured hair.
1. What is your return policy?
If you’re not entirely satisfied with your Arata purchase, we offer hassle-free returns and refunds based on the category of your issue (outlined below).
A. What if I receive a damaged or defective product?
If your product is damaged or defective, contact our support team within 3 days of delivery, along with images of the product and your order ID via email or WhatsApp, after review (usually 24–48 working hours), we’ll arrange a replacement
B. What if my order is missing items or contains the wrong item?
If your order is missing items or you received something incorrect, contact support within 3 days of delivery, you may be asked to share an unboxing video or images of the package. After verification, the correct or missing item will be sent to you.
C. Can I return the product if I don’t like it?
Yes. If you simply don’t like the product; you can return it within 7 days of delivery, the product must be sent back via courier to our warehouse. After receiving the return and completing quality checks, the value may be credited to your Arata account as store coins/credit.
D. When are returns not accepted?
Returns will not be accepted if the original packaging or labels are missing, the return/request is raised after 7 days of delivery.
E. How long does it take to process a refund?
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.
F. Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched. Please contact customer service to request a cancellation.
